Our new portable scale houses are portable yet large enough to fit 2-3 persons comfortably. Customers find this size a perfect solution for a weigh station, security office, or guard station. Our attractive scale houses are competitively priced yet come standard with many options.


Our buildings are built to last and rugged for any application you need. We will work with you to build a scale house that will best fit your company’s needs.


Some standard options include interior counters to facilitate monitoring, HVAC units, electrical outlets, and interior fluorescent lighting.

Horizontal sliding double pane windows with screen are also among the standard options included in our truck weigh stations.


Efficient heating and cooling systems for all size structures are available. For northern states, additional wall mounted heaters or baseboard heaters are recommended.


Guard houses with toilet, and bathrooms that are ADA compliant are also popular. Security personnel need a climate controlled enclosure to shelter them from outdoor elements and we’ve got them.

Things You May Not Have Thought Of

Tie down straps on the all four corners are a standard feature. These galvanized metal straps used to secure the scale house in place after delivery. Anchoring can then be done utilizing a mobile home type tie down anchoring system in which the “Anchor head with lag bolt” and the “Split bolt” work well.


While the tie down straps are standard, actual anchoring is done by others. Whatever your situation, we are comfortable that we can provide a secure and safe scale house or guard station.

The scale houses are equipped with aluminum siding and galvanized steel roof, insulated walls, floor, and ceiling, insulated glass windows, and secure insulated insulated metal doors. Our tough weigh station structures are built to be long lasting and designed with low maintenance in mind.

Some of our employees are 6’ 2” will they have enough clearance inside these buildings? Yes! Our standard interior wall height for most units is 84” and will accommodate any average to taller person. However we do offer an optional 92” interior wall height. This taller wall height provides a more pleasing appearance in larger buildings.

Most custom guard house units take about 3-4 weeks to build. Shipping is then expedited thru a commercial carrier or our own truck. Select units with standard layouts and colors are in stock and ready to ship within a few days. Always check for current stock availability.
